Are you thinking about starting a home based business and thinking about joining a network marketing company to do so? Maybe you are already involved with a network marketing company and at times thought to yourself, why. The first decision you have to make if you are pondering the idea of network marketing is whether you are looking for freedom or security.

Let me first start off and state that network marketing is not for those that are looking for security, or for those that are in the need of making money. I am sorry to say but this is not what network marketing is all about. You do not want to come into network marketing with the need mentality mindset. If you do then you will be on the road to disaster very fast. You will be an emotional disaster in your own business and when you are in business you have to be able to control your emotions. I am going to say right off that if you want some sort of security then you are probably better off looking for a job with benefits and an hourly wage.

People who join network marketing need to have the mindset and desire for freedom and not security. You see when you read about many famous entrepreneurs in America or the world, you will read about how these people had strong desire for freedom and not job security. In fact many of these people were complete broke and stay broke for a while after they started in their entrepreneur life.

The first and main freedom that will come with network marketing or even any other home business venture is the ability to choose and create your life. You can start to build your dream and not another mans dream.

Time freedom is a freedom that also inspires people to start their own home business. Time freedom does not mean that you can take all day off and live at the beach as some of the magazine ads out there show you. Time freedom means that you have the ability to take the afternoon off if you need to go to the doctors office, without asking an employer for permission. Time freedom means that you are able to help a friend move on a Tuesday afternoon when he needs your help.

Then later on will come financial freedom. This is a freedom that most people are out to find. This is what people get mixed up with financial security. You see there is a difference with them. Finacnial freedom will not happen overnight with a home business opportunity or network marketing. This is something we work towards.

So overall, network marketing is a great option for those that are seeking to find some freedom in their life.
